We also have wild honey for sale that comes from rescued bee hives in the surrounding areas as well as some sourwood honey from the North Georgia Mountains. Our honey bee farm is situated in Fayetteville, GA on two acres, surrounded by lots of wood, marshland, and pasture. Normally, we have anywhere from 10-50 hives that we operate depending on the time of year. Honey produced at our farm in Fayetteville is wildflower honey. In addition, we move our hives to North GA in the Blue Ridge Mountains where the bees make sourwood honey. And the wild honey from wild hives is not touched by man. No pesticides used, no mite treatments used in the hive, no plastic foundation, no wood glue, no treated wood used as hive material. The bees have produced the honey with no beekeeper watching after them and can do outstandingly well just on their own. Here at Southeast Bee Removal, we are amazed how we can spend lots of time taking care of hives in our own backyard only to have a wild hive outperform it in strength and honey production with no help from man. Very similar to our backyard honey except even more raw and in its natural state. The comb is carefully removed at the job site and transported in food grad buckets. Then it is simply crushed and lightly strained to remove bee parts and large bits of beeswax. The flavor and taste is incredible. The wild honey contains more pollen and beeswax particles and tends to crystallize faster. The crystallization process is normal. Some people prefer it this way as it is a sign that is very pure and natural. Other items we sell are: chunk comb, honeycomb, candles, pollen, propolis, and wax. Our Raw Honey is made from our bees that have pollinated our Blueberry Patch so our Honey has a lighter, more fruity taste. We strain our honey only once and never heat our honey.
