Honey takes on the flavor, color and aroma of the nectar the bees collect and carry back to the hive. Flowers blooming at different times of
year produce different nectars. Honey extracted in Early Summer is produced with a lighter nectar. That lighter nectar results in a light,
golden-colored honey with a "traditional" sweet honey taste. Late Summer Extraction, produced with a darker nectar, results in a dark amber or
brown-colored honey. Late Summer has a more bold and slightly less sweet taste than Early Summer. In addition to our honey, beeswax products,
jams, handcreams & lipbalms, and woodenware, Bee Tree Farm & The New Hampshire Honey Bee caters to the needs of hobbyist beekeepers and
side-liner apiaries. For the beginner beekeeper we carry packaged kits that include all you need to get started in the fascinating world of
beekeeping; hive set-ups, tools, protective gear, literature and more. For the more experienced keeper we have the woodenware, frames,
foundation and other supplies you need to maintain and grow your apiary; and individual tools to update or replace that old smoker or lost hive
tool.
Bee Tree Farm & The New Hampshire Honey Bee is a Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business. We are also very proud of our
affiliation with the Department of Veterans Affairs Compensated Work Therapy Program providing meaningful work to wounded warriors. (ADDED:
